Happy New Year from The Eglinton Way BIA!

1. The Eglinton Way Board of Management Members

Last fall two new members were nominated to the Board of Management. The approval of Peter Le Fave to The Eglinton Way Board of Management happened as of Dec 16, 2016 and Peter Cook from the Fireplace Shop is expected to become a voting member in February.


2. Upcoming Board of Management Projects

This winter and spring, The Eglinton Way BIA Board will begin work on a strategic plan and opening a request for proposal this year’s landscaping for the planters and baskets.

Projects that will be continuing are the preparation and planning for our 2017 events and working with the Digital Main Street team. If you or any of your staff are interested in joining the upcoming strategic plan, landscaping, or events committee please contact Sheliza at The Eglinton Way BIA at info@theeglintonway.com.

You can also sign up for a meeting in the new year with the Digital Main Street Squad by emailing info@theeglintonway.com.  January is a great time to work on your strengthening your business’ digital presence through Digital Main Street.


3. Summerlicious 2017 Application Information for Full-Service Restaurants


The application submissions deadline to determine a restaurant’s eligibility to participate in Summerlicious 2017 is February 16, 2017.

Restaurants that have previously participated in Winterlicious/Summerlicious and are currently eligible do not need to re-apply, unless their last application was submitted in 2014 or earlier.
